Larson Composite Metal Panels

The fishnet pattern on the exterior of Kineum Tower is made from Larson composite metal panels.

“The crisscross construction consists of more than a thousand elements of glass and aluminum, giving the structure its unique, three-dimensional exterior,” explains Marco Testa, CEO, Reflex Architects, Stockholm, Sweden. The thickness of the aluminum profiles is based upon solar study calculations that helped to minimize solar heat loads while offering pleasant natural light to pass into the offices and hotel rooms.
